We research carefully, rely on data, and work to editorial standards. For well-founded guides to digital products and services.
“We don’t tell you what you want to hear. We show how we arrive at a result. You judge the rest for yourself.”

Before we assess anything, we decide who belongs in the comparison in the first place. We include the providers that are genuinely relevant in a category: by reach, by availability in the German-speaking market, and by what users actually search for in search engines. The goal is a complete overview of the options that are relevant for consumers, not an arbitrary selection. We are transparent in the article about which providers we looked at.
We systematically evaluate publicly available sources: the providers’ own information, technical specifications and prices, and a wide range of genuine user reviews from review platforms, forums, app stores, and social media. We cross-check the providers’ claims against their official documentation and several independent sources, rather than simply taking marketing at face value. Which providers make it into a comparison at all we derive from real search demand, that is, from what consumers actually search for.
Every assessment follows the same process. That keeps it transparent how we arrive at our results.

For each category we set fixed criteria in advance and make them visible in the article. Readers see what we looked at and how a result comes about, rather than having to rely on gut feeling alone.
We compile what an offering really consists of: feature set, pricing, and services. Our basis is the providers’ own information, publicly available sources, and, where possible, freely accessible demos and trial versions. That produces a solid picture that goes beyond marketing promises. We check the details, instead of just repeating them.
Not everything can be read off a screen. For courses, seminars, and services, the real process is what counts. So we evaluate what real customers report: about signing up, the process, service, and cancellation. From many individual reports we pull out the themes that come up again and again. That builds a picture of how an offering really works, not just how it is advertised.
We compare providers along the same points and base this on data. We compile features, pricing, and services in a structured way, so the offerings can be set side by side cleanly and no single feature dictates the overall picture.

We evaluate publicly available, ideally verified user reviews and monitor what is said about an offering in forums and on social media. From many individual voices we derive an overall sentiment using sentiment analysis, paying attention to which praise and which criticism recur. We weight individual outliers lower than clearly recognisable patterns.
Digital offerings change fast. That is why we date our articles and update them when prices, features, or providers change noticeably. The date of the last review is shown transparently on the article.
We draw on real usage experiences and, where possible, our own checks, rather than just repeating marketing claims.
We evaluate reviews, forums, and social media systematically, not by gut feeling.
Every provider goes through the same assessment against criteria disclosed in advance.
We do not name only strengths. Where an offering falls short, we say so.
Every article carries a date and is updated when something material changes.
Our articles appear under the name Crafins Studio or as one of our authors. It is always clear who is responsible for the text.
Individual articles contain affiliate links. Through such links we may earn a commission; it costs readers nothing extra. We label them in the article.
